TDA is currently looking to hire an Accounting Manager. This position is an integral part of the administrative team and helps to ensure that the month-end close process is accurate and efficient. This position will manage the AR and AP functions and will assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with accounting principles to ensure accurate financial reporting and control, under the supervision of the Controller. Additionally, this position will also entail responsibilities for in-house payroll preparation and Human Resources management.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  •  Must be a fully involved manager and be able to work harmoniously with both employees and other management personnel.
  • Manage the A/R, A/P, functions and assist with general ledger, contract management and payroll.
  •  Prepare monthly accounting records and reports
  • Present financials and associated reports.
  • Analyze and explain variances from annual budgets
  • Coordinate outside audits with outside independent auditors and regulatory agencies (DCAA), oversee preparation of required items.
  • Establish and maintain accounting procedures and internal controls

Requirements of Ideal Candidate:

  • CPA and degree in accounting or finance required
  • Experience with Microsoft Dynamics SL project based accounting software
  • Knowledge of Government Contractor Cost Accounting requirements and understanding of FAR/DFARs requirements
  • Demonstrated accounting and finance knowledge with at least three years supervisory experience
  • Excel in a time-sensitive, deadline driven environment with the ability to prioritize and keep a positive outlook
  • Detailed oriented problem solver
  • Superior verbal and written communication skills

TDA has a position open for a production technician. TDA carries out R&D in catalysis and adsorption, aerospace components, and the development of new polymers, carbons and composite materials.

The opening is in sorbent and catalyst production.  Material production quantities vary from a few pounds to multiple tons of finished product.  Multiple processes are used depending on the material, including mixers, extruders, tanks, and furnaces.  Position will require production at all scales, with adequate notes and observations to facilitate reproduction and further scale-up activities.  Production will require handling of large amounts of material and chemicals, including forklift operation.  Applicant should be able to handle introduction of new materials and new processes, and multitask to complete multiple production processes and schedules concurrently.  Candidate should have English language proficiency, be able to lift 50 lbs and have a background that demonstrates experience in multiple of the following areas:

  • Safe handling of hazardous materials
  • Batch-based Production
  • Batch Control and History
  • Quality Control
  • Inventory Control
  • General Laboratory Record Keeping and Practices

Additionally, familiarity with production flow and packaging, streamlining and improving production processes, and troubleshooting product and processes issues would be highly beneficial.
